Here's the regulation under the FWCA that covers trapping. You can also visit the Ontario Fur Managers Federation to view it. As per my original post, a farmer is also legal to be in possession and use traps on their own property. You need to meet the def. of farmer under the act, not just be a land owner. This is not a new deal. It's been the law as long as I've been licenced (1986). They will periodically ammend the regs (looks like it was most recently done in Sept. of this year). The ammended sections usually appear in red if you scroll thru the entire deal.
