I used mine tonight in Mississauga. I was busy with the baby tonight and literally got to the polling station at 928pm. When I was asked for ID I handed over my PAL, of the three people close enough to see it I got one nod of approval and two confused looks. I cast my vote at 930pm, I was the only non volunteer in the room and had all eyes watching me. So far the results don't look too promising.
I used mine. It's not to confirm an address. Its picture id to confirm your picture and name on the ID matches the name on your voter card.
I'm surprised by the number of reports of people working at the voting stations not knowing what they are doing. Blame Harper.
