i just take a small radio with an antenna.
never seems to be enough hours in the day out there to do all the
things id like to do: travelling,setting up camp,fishing,hiking,swimming, harvesting fire wood
,cooking, cleaning, adjusting the tarp,taking pictures
etc. one of my favourite times of the day are in the evenings just enjoying
the warmth of the fire and listening to the radio.

We only had 2 channels, and often we had to get up on the roof to adjust the antenna... but it was tradition. Been quite some time since they did away with the analog signal and I still miss it. Especially when you spend every sat night from duck opener 'til freeze-up on an island.
For the most part, we spend daylight hours outside. Evenings when it's dark early it's nice to have a little HNIC to go along with the warm wood stove, a hot meal and a cold one to cap off the day.
Why when I have a tv...that's like trying to kill a deer by throwing rocks at it when I have a gun...lol I actually have very little time to watch when I am at home so it's kinda nice..Quote:
