If your looking for a tent to use as hunting or fishing camp for prolonged stays, I would recommend a deluxe wall tent, have been using for 4 yrs during Alberta whitetail hunt, you can purchase internal frame or use poles, we have the frame sets up easily in 15 minutes. we hunted in -20 weather and it kept us very warm after the days hunt and through the night.
So got my tent with stove hole. Looking for heat source. Hate wood. Hassle, dirty, smelly, won't go all night etc etc. I know folk say propane will kill. Well if it's going up a pipe the same way wood smoke would or it would kill too, it's got to be possible. I'd appreciate thoughts on a buy or a build. The milsurp multi fuels are OK. Their main source is diesel or kerosene. Again you're not going to have yourself and cloths in proximity to that and hunt the next day. I've settled on propane just got to figure out how

That's my take on it too. My windows are a velcro'd panel. I'll just get the wife to sew me new window covers, except they'll only be velcro'd on three sides so the bottom is free to flap. Stove gets air. I don't get bombed. I don't see an issueQuote:

Agree with this. I'd vent top and bottom just to be sure.
One other thing: to cut down on the amount of propane you're going to burn at night add a fly over the tent to reduce heat loss. Makes a huge difference.
