Upland dogs that will also retreive ducks and geese?

No such thing as too thick for a flusher more like too thick for the hunter .lol I have hunted many times the areas you hunt and my Springer would burn up those areas. And my flusher retrieves geese without any problems.

A flusher is more suited to thicker bush - they flush the bird out to you. With a pointer you're going to be the one fighting the bush to get the bird.

I haven't. My point was don't rule a flusher out... they flush, its what they do. My dog will take on a solid wall of prickly ash. We don't finish any hunts where his face isn't raw.
