Baby Duck has a choc female out of a sibling of Ammo and is obviously looking for a male to cross on his yet to be bred female. Levi is a choc male running on the Ontario circuit but has been sent south already for winter training. He's not interested in doing an AI breeding.
If more chocolates were like Ammo, there certainly would be more chocolates running the field trial circuit and therefore more interest in having one. Ammo did not accumulate these points as a lucky dog, on the contrary, she's an outstanding Labrador worthy of that recognition. I judged the National 2 years ago so I had a ringside seat watching her run throughout the week right through to the end.
As an aside, black dogs dominate field trials, yellow dogs next, very, very few goldens and chocolates compete and almost no peakes.....those are the statistics, not someone's opinion. However, dogs like Ammo are certainly very special and in this case an outstanding chocolate female.
