Rick, as a mod I'm supposed to find your 'fairy' comment a little tacky but as a member I think its hilarious and way too appropriate.
Kim Jung Un is like a little kid with a new toy hammer. He can't wait to whack something. Now,he wants to be the big kid on the block. Previous successive American administrations have continually used the politics of appeasement to placate the little pr**k,but,it never worked. He only kept up the rhetoric to squeeze as much as possible from the international community. Now,he finds himself dealing with an extreme hardliner that won't tolerate threats. I wish Trump would keep his mouth shut and just take care of business in case of any eventuality. Teddy Roosevelt's foreign policy of "Walk softly and carry a big stick" is definitely advantageous, but, obviously he'll do it his way. The whole thing will go BANG,very shortly and we're smack dab in the line of fire. We better learn to duck.

As for North Korea, he is getting attention now (I guess both "J"'s are...) and seems to want to use it like a bargaining chip, the fact there are atleast 250,000 in forced labour camps and public executions for dozens of things doesn't concern China.

When you look at China it is pretty obvious that we actually are just funding an enemy ... look at the claims of territory based on their building an island with a base on it, new ships, new weapons etc. The balancing act is to get money into the hands of the people and education to the people, even with the GFW - (Great Fire Wall, having watched tv in Beijing and it obviously stopped the CNN broadcast for issues it wanted censored) but there are gains here ... but also remember these are the same leaders that had no issue driving tanks over student protestors and is rapidly expanding their military spending and projects.

Completely closed countries like Saudi Arabia, those we should cut trade ties with.
China will never attack any of its customers. To risk shutting off the flow of cash from the USA by engaging militarily would bring them to thier knees in no time. Shooting themselves in the foot as they say.
And the other side of that coin is the West don't want to have to pay $3k for a laptop or smartphone. They are addicted to the the products of slave labor. If fatso attacks first the Chinese have given Trump permission to incinerate NK and my guess there are enough nuclear subs quietly laying on the ocean floor off the Korean Peninsula to do that very quickly. Problem solved. It's nothing but spin from here on in. Not sure Trump is smart enough to understand that though.
