I believe what you were referring to he was not condoning putting your tag on a moose that you did not shoot as YOU had suggested people should do and not report it to MNR.

Then he suggested keeping a camera found on his property when another poster previously mentioned opp had suggested it is not illegal to keep property somebody had placed there illegally...

Get your cards straight bushhmoose your comparing apples to oranges and likely butt hurt that nobody agreed with your post about illegally placing your tag on a moose so it doesnt go to waste. (i.e poaching)

Regarding the moose the responsible thing to do is report it to mnr, when they confiscate an illegally havested moose I doubt they are trashing it, we can only assume it's going to be consumed maybe by a homeless shelter or FN.

That is still theft , the only difference between a camera and a car is price, and there is a good possibility that the camera owner will come back and do some type of damage for retribution.

Take the camera down, leave a note saying it can be claimed at the local police station ,
if it is not claimed the police can then turn it over to you, and it's all done legally.

Kinda funny that you would leave a note on your own property for a trespasser with the hope he comes back to read it....silly! Might as well invite him over for dinner too.

listen here Moosebush. Age and "wisdom", the amount of deer you've wrastled or not wrastled has nothing to do with this. were talking about LAWS and FACTS. The fact of the law is, you mistakenly shoot an animal, and instead of doing the correct thing and calling a CO to report your chitty spotting and shooting habits you decide to go the illegal route and call up a friend in another local camp to come tag your mistake. I on the other hand am claiming whats mine to take when somebody KNOWINGLY trespasses on my property and hunts the animals I've been after for years, growing and feeding them, making sure they're healthy and alive for when hunting season rolls around. This person will not rob me of my hard work and time and money I've put into it. if they choose to hunt the next field or bush over and happen to kill it, then so be it. fair is fair. What I'm condoning is not illegal. its not the same as your neighbors kids bike or car you thick skulled poacher. Think of it as a land tax to a trespasser, you want to hunt my land knowing you don't have permission? your'e gonna pay. You want to drive down the 407ETR? you gotta pay. same thing goes with my property. Don't preach the high road to me old timer. your'e wrong and everybody thats read your posts agrees that you are, and if they don't they're at least wise enough to not blab about it on a public forum. And yeah, you leave a car on my property and I don't know you, I'm having it towed, your kids leave a bike? say hi to kijiji. Your lazy kids will learn to pick up after themselves soon enough. My property isn't a dumping grounds for people, nor is it free reign for other hunters to hunt on. I may be harsh, but I'm fair, and unlike yourself, still doing things legally.

Really?? You would actually sell some kids bike rather than do the right thing and find the owner. Sorry to say, but any cred you might have have just went down the drain if that's the type of person you are.
