That was the final tally but at 11pm it was only 43 (Globe and Mail's result). Either way she nearly lost her seat she has held for 15 years.

I stayed up late to see her lose it but crashed when they called her elected, 4 hours of sleep but at least it is Friday and a slow one at that.

It certainly did feel like Christmas eve and still feels like Christmas!
