I chucked the other stuff but still have the linesman bucket and use it to haul stuff up to my tree stand.

That's quite typical of every insurance company. They deny claims as a matter of course,initially,to see if you're the type of person dumb enough to take "no" for an answer. If you keep going up the management chain,sooner or later,once they realize there'll be a major shyte storm,they'll settle.

Part of the wheel dolly...guess after you hit it your car got to ride on one. ;)

No actually, hit it square with the wheel. The rim was dented to the hub, I pulled over and changed the tire on the side of the 401 at an on ramp. I was not sure what I hit but the tow truck driver came over to the side and said it was him and that they would pay for everything. 6 cars at least hit this on the highway, I saw a spare tire from an SUV rolling down the side of the highway, a few oil pans were ripped off other cars. The part swung up and hit my door, ended up with just short of $4000 damage, if they were not paying for it my old Camry would have been a write off just due to age and kms. I changed the tire and drove it to the reporting office, ha ha, nothing but a tire, rim and body damage somehow.

All those people who claim that a car will flip over and burst into flames when a tire blows out are full or crap, drove straight as an arrow and nothing weird until I slowed to about 30 km/h, then it limped on that front corner.
