Devil's advocate,if I may? Let's just say the Liberals win another clear majority and proceed with seizures of all "military style" rifles,all handguns and a few dozen styles of hunting rifles and shotguns exactly the same as what's happened in New Zealand,Australia and the UK. A couple of years down the road,gangbangers are still killing more people,violent crime has expanded exponentially despite the "bans" and it's become blatantly obvious that everything the firearms community has warned about becomes undeniable. I wonder if anyone in the Liberal Party has thought about "OK,NOW what do we do?"

Trimmer its blatantly obvious now with all the shootings going on in the city. Gangbangers do not have gun licenses and the guns they are using were not purchased through a legal source. Until the liberals deal with the real gun problem, the shootings will never slow down. Criminals love liberals because they know they get slap on the wrist penalties when charged with gun crimes. Our current government is so pathetic they are not even able to make money selling weed..lol

I think once again some of you guys need to watch some main stream news.Lowest unemployment rate at 5.5% in decades,seven times the number of jobs produced last month than expected.This is why Justin will get re elected.Now we have Andrew (the coffeeboy) he wants to cut 52 billion in the next 5 years across the board,this would be infrastructure programmers much need when the full blast of global warming hits us.
Our dealings with China is a direct of result of THE DONALD using us in an extradition treaty where he got a dig at the Chinese at our expense.Yes yet another brilliant Conservative at work.

The fact that gang bangers have not taken over New Zealand,Australia and UK kinda defeats your argument right off the bat?Secondly the gang bangers are basically killing off each other and nobody I know,white or black or brown seem,s particularly upset about this fact.Live by the sword you die by the sword.

I remember Chief Saunders talking about recently in a 60 day period they rearrested 52 on firearms charges again. So almost as soon as they were out of jail they had a new gun and a ban will fix that... criminal (not allowed) with an illegal handgun (not allowed), in public with that handgun (not allowed) and taking the private property of people obeying the law is their solution .... the logical and moral disconnect is beyond fixing it seems!

If they weren't upset by this fact, why is it they want to go after the legitimate, lawful and responsible gun owners? Last time I checked, we arent the ones creating the problem, but it sure seems that the liberals think so?

I hope you have made note that my post on A SHORT HISTORY OF THE AR-15 IN CANADA has already gleamed 63 views by the members on here within less than 24 hours and not a single solitary comment in support of the gun. That,s probably because the "hunters" on this hunting site do not see it as a big issue for them and trust that this government will do the right thing by them.

Again I will ask the question,I have asked on here year after year.

Because some of your legitimate,lawful and responsible gun owners have in there ranks gun owners who do not act lawfully.They have killed spouses in domestic violence incidents,stored guns improperly and some even acted as straw purchasers and made money gun running.If you think all legal gun owners were good guys/gals you need to do some more reading.
