Nice work koke 2.5 inches is enough for this guy lol.
Go grab some soft baits with that ct money. Never see you use the plastic baits but the fish love them.

I probably don't use them enough but one of my favorites is a chartreuse curly tailed grub. But you are right I should diversify.

Yeah I switched from the minnows to the soft bait probably 3 or 4 years ago. Most days the soft bait works just as good as live bait. Then there are those days where the live bait will be better. But wonce you get the action down on them they are very effective on all the species of fish. Have a garbage bag full of soft baits lol.
I use them for spring walleye and plenty of them this year I went through 3 packs in the evening. Got almost 20 walleye they chew through them ,but many end up snagged on the rocks lol.
Also the Lakers up north love them
Here on simcoe the perch love them same with the whitties and trout. I go big or go home so most of my walleye baits are use on the jumbos aswell. Just rip a small portion off to make it the size I want. Also use the small 1 and 2 inches but mainly stick to the 3 and 4 inch. The perch eat 4 inch gobys so my 3 inch swim bait is no problem. Right on. Yeah I have used tubes for lakers. They worked great. I go by the go big theory too. Perch can be pigs!
