As long as the lakes aren’t frozen over, they won’t be far from the water. Last year in 12, they were still around the water opening week. We hunted up in 3 the opening week there, which was the week before the opener in 12, and they were still near the water. With the weather we get now, they are around the lakes a lot longer...getting them to come to call is another matter.
