Go ahead if you can do it safely says the ofah .
Not sure why others have so many issues about if you follow the rules.. plain and simple if you dont feel comfortable fishing then dont if you cant do it safely then dont. If you want to fish or hunt go for it.
Please dont travel and stay near your community Have fun . If you want to stay in your place then all means stay in your house . If you do go out please respect the new social distancing rules.

Did not get thru all of the article, but since 99% or more of fishmen(persons) in ontario don't fish for carp, I am sure I will not have to worry about keeping 2 meter from the rest.
I think this kind of thinking almost exclusively applies to the GTA and a handful of other densely populated areas. Its absolute garbage to think you should apply the same rules to the rest of our enormous and beautiful province...

Holier-than-thou sanctimony exists everywhere there's people who chronically nit-pick and "tsk-tsk" at every little perceived slight or minor infraction and are quite quick to condemn. People like that are like diapers.....always on your a** and usually full of the same stuff. Just ignore them.
what a horrible petition - If i was someone who retired and moved up north and lived year round somewhere up in sudbury on the water and was unable to fish I would think thats pretty unreasonable. How about you treat me like the adult like I am and let me decide if I am safe or not, I dont need this lousy petiton.
On the flipside, if I am in a boat jigging for pickerel on the detroit river and have 3 friends in the boat with me then triple the fines and throw the book at me...
