Do you shrink your photos before uploading them onto the site? You'd be able to fit a lot more on there if you did. Typically I recommend to half resolution, unless you want to start using an outside platform to keep them at full-resolution.

Why don't you just use imgur instead and save yourself all the hassles.
Smitty- thank you for the idea-i am like "too old"for certain things,do "not speak no Imgur":ashamed:,for any reasonalbe computerised stuff i need help.............this thing did work for me for about 10 years-as is,plus i have less then half of the allocation used up by me!!!!Now it seems i am doing something wrong?
I do not see why this thing does not work for me-me being the reason.
My "technical support"told me likely the Forum is running out of room or whatnot..............
Thanks Greatwhite- i will figure it out somehow how to do it.:silly:
Try this site to reduce the photo size. I havent use this one but I just choose one when I nned to.

When I first joined here I had issues trying to post pics, that's when I joined imgur. It really is quite simple. Join the site and sign in. Simply drag your picture onto the page and it will upload on its own. Then when you click on your picture a newer window will pop up like this.

That took me maybe 40 seconds to get on the site, sign in, click on my images and then pick the one I wanted. Then in the window click on copy BBCode. Then go to your post here and simply right click and then click on paste. Voila, all done. Once you've done it a few times it will seem easy peasy.
Cheers
Thanks everyone.
gbk I appreciate your frustration, but here are at least some options for you to explore. It's tricky to troubleshoot remotely when we can't see your whole set-up, but shrinking files has always been my "hack" for saving space on whichever platform.
