Hunter Safety systems harness are the most popular and easiest to use. Combined with a lifeline rope with a prussic knot and a suspension relief strap in your pocket - and please know how to use all of these!- your risk of serious injury or death will be greatly reduced (Not eliminated!). Another gadgets for avoiding suspension trauma is called the Primal Descender - it lets you down gradually. Costs about $120 - well worth insurance for your life! : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kGtj1XFLYGM
I'm a fan of the HSS vest style harnesses. I tried a Muddy but the hardness of the material on that particular model i'd purchased made sound when i rubbed against it and that drove me nuts. Currently using an HSS Hybrid and i'm happy with it. Has tons of pockets. I hang & hunt every sit, so i rely on a good harness and linesman rope as i'm hanging my sticks and stand.

Find an old car and cut the seat belts out of it and attach the both pieces like the seatbelt in the car. Works perfect.
