She was being arrested. I’m sure the police had the authority. The facts are, she was actively resisting the arrest. The lawfulness or reasonableness of that arrest will be decided by a court. Bottom line, she made the decision to cause the escalation of police use of force..the harder one resists, the more force is authorized by police....the person being arrested decides how much force the police will use.....they are authorized to use only as much force as is necessary to affect a lawful purpose.

I watched up to the part where she was thrown in the van and the door was slammed shut. The rest of the video was 10 minutes long. Does something else critical happen later in the video?

Those cops are f00ked.... What was the urgency to remove her like that with her son screaming. What the hell where those cops thinking.
To serve and protect... Who were they serving and who were they protecting. All they did was dramatize that boy and others like them. This should be used as a training exercise as what not to do.... Dumb FOOKS...

It looks like the video has been altered on the Rebel siet to add the interview stuff that wasn't there when I first posted it this morning. There was a longer section of video after they ripped her kid away and then proceeded to drag her into the van. That was the part I took the most offence with. I'll see if I can find the original video that was posted.

I'm thinking the cops took the kid because she wasn't of sound mind...lol.

I would have to see the initial conversation between the cops and the woman, but it looked to me like the cops were more stunned by her carrying on ("no I'm not under arrest") than anything else. I think she made her bed with that comment unfortunately.

Covid has turned some people who were only "on the fence crazy" into full blown nut jobs. I think Mom from the video is probably a nut job but Rebel wants to use the footage to push their angle. More of the same... only from the right this time.

Why does anyone care what happens in Australia? Thousands of miles away, different country, different laws. Let us know when you get video of it happening in Ontario from a legitimate news outlet.

Bars with restricted hours and no loud music
