Yeah that's what I have heard could be 6 months. I have seen a few on Kijiji but have not looked at them and most had the 5.6 ft box which is to small for my needs. I will find something but I am not going to hurry.

You know other than I did like that truck specifically because I liked the 4X4 system on it. Personally it doesn't bother me it was wrecked, crap happens and life goes on. I'm thankful I am still alive for another day, it could have been much worse and could have been much worse with my kid being in it, luckily it didn't happen on the highway doing 120 or luckily I used heavy duty straps to secure the ATV which could have come through the back window. I have insurance and it's going to pay out from what it seems, the towing company still has to get to it.
But things could have been much worse and I am still alive to go see my 1 year old granddaughter this Thanksgiving in Regina.
I appreciate everyone's comments and I am always up front and like to tell a storey I hope everyone else is safe and has a good rest of the year camping.
Cheers All
I will take my time. I can still hunt. I have a trailer that I have used for the ATV and my wife's care can tow it the Sorento is rated for 4000 pounds. Just have to promise I won't take it off road. Plus I paid for her car so technically I should be allowed to take it, shouldn't I
I am already looking but I am partial to looking for a good old one like I had I really like the 4x4 shifter on the floor and not the electronic crap.
I'm going to wait until I confirm what insurance is going to give me I think I will get what I paid between 10 - 12 K.
I have another 20 K I can toss in, just have to decide how far I want to go. Wife still wants a new Kitchen
Now that's funny. I don't know wife thinks I should just buy new. But since I only do about 10K a year doesn't seem like a good financial move. But than again I wouldn't have to do anything on it probably until I am 70 years old so another 18 years. I am tired of working on cars and trucks and no longer do repairs on the wife's car I send it to the garage. But I will admit I do like the older ones better and I really am partial with the 4wd on the floor and not the electronic crap.
Probably if I go newish something around 2018. I am hoping maybe if I look hard I might find another Dodge with the shift on the floor but doubtful. Although my mechanic does have the same Dodge Larmine 1 year newer than mine a 2006 but with the Diesel in mint condition that he just put a brand new box on last year. I am thinking of seeing if he is interested in selling it as he did buy a 2018 Ford.
Just remember my Mechanic has a 2007 Ram with the 6.7 Diesel and last year he put a new box on it and the thing is kept in immaculate condition he also bought a used 2018 F150 last year, so going to go and see if he is in the mood to sell it. That thing sips fuel, I could probably afford to drive it.
If you go that route GW..pick up a truck coming off lease, around 7yrs old. Best bang for the $$$, usually low millage, well maintained and from what I see in the CT parking lot, not many have never been off hard stand.
Myself, even at that age, they're still well beyond what I would ever pay for a P/U truck. 8 yrs ago I picked up my 97 GMC Sierra at an auction for $3,200. It's getting a little rough around the edges now but still does what it's supposed to do.
Perfect, a great excuse to pick up a used Tundra! :) Always drove Chevs before, and last August bought a Tundra. Never looked back!

I had 2 Tacoma’s in my younger years. Then I had this this idiot idea I needed a F350…what a pile that 6.0 diesel was lol. Back to Toyota I went, I bought a new 17’ Tundra years back. I do regular oil changes and Krown rust every year…”Never look back” Bingo!
