I remember we used to hunt a big swamp near Alma and had to drag some big bucks out for up to 1km. It would almost kill us (torn rotator cuff, pulled knees, abdominal hernia). It got to the point that you were dreading the radio call after one of your buddies shot. I remember the calming relief when they said it was only a yearling buck.
