There's a lot of theft up here for reasons you mentioned......the slap on the wrist thing. Make no mistake,though,home invaders can still get themselves ventilated by residences up here,too. Canadian law is full of instances where it's happened and in most cases after investigations are complete,there's no charges laid if all legal conditions are met. The prevailing general notion that Canadians aren't allowed to protect themselves with deadly force is nonsense.
