The issue isn't so much that the Liberals have created what amounts to a coalition Govt with the NDP....it's that the CPC can't seem to put forward a decent enough candidate, that can get enough traction to not shoot themselves in the face. Or, when election time comes, many right leaning voters get stupid and waste their vote on a party candidate that, while having a decent enough platform, stand absolutely zero chance of forming a government. (PPC anyone?).
If Conservative voters could genuinely learn to be more strategic in their vote, it would result in greater success....instead we look at the Government from the opposition side of the house, and cry foul because someone was more strategic than us, and was able to actually find a common ground.
Incidentally, coalition governments are quite common.
I respectfully suggest that The OFAH, and members on here decide early on strategy prior to the next election, and get everyone on the same page, or we'll be looking at a similar scenario.
