i live IN VIRGINIA,i catch them, ill run them over....and keep on goin!!!......
spend the night at bonnie boats in your car
That's so pathetic, what the heck is the world coming to when you cant fish in peace and not worry about YOUR HUT being stolen? Honestly, for what? Maybe a burner, some old gear, pots and pans? What the heck do you want in a hut?
Honestly these losers put as much effort to do things legally as they do illegally (like stealing a hut) they would have built a beautiful hut by now.
Sorry I get steamed when it comes to stealing, was at the public launch on the bottom of Cooks in Keswick, I literally turned my eye for a second and some jerk took off with a plano tray full to the top with my rapala jerk baits. The only jerk bait is that jerk ___, go get a job.
I don't think you get 15 to 20 pen time in Canada for murdering someone , let alone steal from them,. they'll be lucky if they even see a jail cell...... and that is probably what pisses people off the most about theives, basically slaps on the wrist or maybe a few months in jail and right back on the streets stealing again.....
It's actually worse than that. If you protect your property from the "poor criminal"in this country, if you even muss a hair on his pretty little head, then the cops treat you worse than the thief. Still though, if or when you find these guys, a little vigilante justice would be the only thing that will really stop them from doing it again. Too bad, but that`s what it`s come to.
About 12 years ago, someone broke into my car on my driveway and stole a tool box, a tackle box, and two new fishing rods from inside the trunk. To this day, I look for that tackle box whenever I am fishing somewhere on the shore in popular spots.
It sucks to be a victim of theft.
I protect my things the best I can and I am always very defensive about it.
The thieves are quite well-prepared in most cases. They have bolt cutters, master keys, extra chains, etc. They will steal anything they can and the easier you make it the happier they get.
As for punishment, it just doesn't exist. I would gladly take matters into my own hands if I ever catch one of them red-handed. Once I'm done with them, they will never ever be able to steal anything else. Oh, I will not get caught either, so the justice system will have no chance to punish me for doing what they are not doing. ;)
