I use my camo backpack or my blaze orange backpack, it does not matter legally.
I do like to use a coat over a vest though, so my blaze orange arms make up for the little bit of orange covered up by the backpack and I have never felt unsafe.

As an avid hunter, unless I'm hunting waterfowl or turkey, I always make sure I've got blaze orange on. I also get my son in the habit as well. The grouse don't care, that's for sure. If it increases my visibility in an area where other hunters are active, then why wouldn't you?

Only crazy people wear orange.. Its overrated.. I wear a blinking light in my head.. And my boots squeek every time I step down...
I also carry an air horn.. And blast that every 5-10 minutes..
This year I'm thinking of getting a stuffed bear. Or a blow up deer.. And climbing a tree.. When I see someone all decked out in orange I'm gonna throw the deer down at them...
Of course the deer will be wearing an orange vest...
