Most hunters I know, do not have a couple of weeks during the year, before the season to scout out where they want to go. Work all year , get 2 weeks to hunt, look at a map, go there. They have the same rights
to hunt that area as locals or regulars, who scout the area 12 months of the year. Not your land , not your deer! I have been confronted before on public land and backed off. That will never happen again , as I had-have as much right on-in that area as he- they do. A hunter had set up a stand on crown land for about 5 years and was upset that others walked through "his" spot... Ps. it is only 250 acres of Crown Land in that spot. It is 300 yards from my dock, Not small-big, enough to call your own. His for life ..why? We have talked and he said he- it was OK for me to hunt there AFTER he had got his bear and deer. This was-is the last year that I will let him control the only crown land within 20 miles. My stand will go up in April, and I will be there first. Can't wait to see if he checks with me before he hunts. Shoe on other foot anyone? Want hunting land for life...buy it!
