Hey man, I hear your situation, lots of people out there have to spend on whats important 1st and foremost.
Hunting and fishing are privileges, just like driving a car, healthcare, social assistance, owning a cell phone ect... these are privileges not rights, Canadians pay for these privileges and with the rising cost of everything else these days, I guess we can expect a rise in the cost to hunt or fish. The way I see it you are finding it hard to afford other things in life that are more important than H&F then perhaps you scale back of either of the 2. As we all know it's much more cheaper to buy meat and fish than it is to actually hunt or fish for them when you take into account the $$ spent on ATV's, Boats, rods/reels/guns ect....
