Those are rinky-dink provincial offences. Setting traps is a criminal code matter with significant civil liability -- liability your insurance company won't cover, as it is created by your deliberate, criminal act.
You can pretty much file setting traps of any kind under Ideas, Bad, Best Avoided.
I'd post signs on my property like this one...
Far more effective than lame old "NO TRESPASSING" notices...

Thanks yellow dog. Holy crap what a farce ! Almost worse than a recent ruling where a bow hunter was murdered from 300 yards because the killer said he thought it was a deer !
I guess if you are the right person and say the right things trespassers are fair game ! :whacked:

Oh yes and they made the shooter look like the victim in this case. If you were to hear my aunt and uncles version of what went on in the court room it would change your mind of the Canadian Justice system. Many people were upset in the community for years to come and came to the same conclusion. Reading those newspaper articles brought back a lot of bitter memories because of the outcome.
