There's an mnr office aurora.. why did they come from Brantford?

Just found out where the bear was shot.. less than 8km to my backyard... had I been home and seen it.. a 270 win of met the bear.. and followed by a new home in the freezer.. next time cops should shoo the bear west..

That seems to be the theme among the Smoky lovers on Faceplant. You'd think the cops had run over a baby w/ a cruiser.

My problem with it is why in hell did it take 5 shots at close range.A couple yrs ago a deer got hit by a car and broke a leg.YRP showed up and this deer was laying in the ditch they shot 9 times and never touched it and it got over the fence and they shot 9 more times and didnt hit it as it disapeared into the bush.I get many calls re bears here in georgina and so far no problems. But sooner or later this time of the yr somebody will be walking in the reforestation areas and un intentionaly walk between a sow and her cubs.If she in a good mood your lucky if not kiss your butt goodbye.Bears have shown up in newmarket area for yrs now.

For me, I am glad they shot it. I would hate to see what would happen if it accidentally ran into a few kids. My opinion is they removed a very dangerous animal from a crowded area. Way to go boys, the beers on me.
