Hopefully you don't hunt coyotes or other non-prey animals. You are allowed to give meat away. You don't have to eat the meat in order to hunt. You just can't let the meat spoil. Big difference.

Coyote hides are used, skinned scraped and sold at auction , but not the ones that have mange, in that case hunters by shooting the mangey ones are helping with keeping it from spreading.Quote:

use the duck in a curry or jalapeno poppers the spice will cover the flavor of the most fishy duck, putting them into a brine overnight helps alot too i do that with eiders and scoters they taste alot better once the blood is gone
Good thread guys. I was wondering if I did something wrong when I cooked the woodies from last week. I love the mallards but those wood ducks are a whole different taste. I really liked Mark's post as it allows for a great variety of cooking styles.
