It seems the language barrier is starting to become a big deal up in the Algonquin Park area during the turning of the leaves during the fall season:

I was listening to this on AM640 a few days ago. The issue seems to surround one ethnic group who either is not understanding the trespass laws in this province or is ignoring them (from the article it seems the former is correct). One caller to the show claimed the newer immigrants of Chinese decent have no concept of what private property entails as this concept does not exist in China. Whether this is true or not, the workaround by the various landowners have people (both local and non-local) claiming it is racism.
Similar problems with overcapacity on the Bruce Peninsula as well. No infrastructure to deal with masses of people. Maybe it's time to take the Innisfill/Barrie approach. Only locals can use the facilities because they charge non-residents $25 to park and if you park illegally you're ticketed. It can become a huge money maker if the municipality plays hardball.
The map at Algonquin is mostly written in Chinese
I know this might raise some hairs as the poster have indicated he doesn't own the land and should go and ask the owner first if he knows of other people walking his land. Unless of course he has exclusive permission and rights to protect the land as delegated by the owner.
No harm in asking before assuming things. Just MHO.
People will push it. I used to hunt CFB Borden, and they caught people "accidentally" trespassing every year. And it's fenced!
Good Idea , but you need to print it up with the same languages you see on bank machine key pads
Even the braille dots , just to be shure , for the ones that didn't see the signs .
Edit Note . I laughed at the Scottish sounding accent . My , who I called Great Uncle , Laughlin , his accent was so bad , naturally . When he tried to speak so uneducated people could understand him . He would stop , take a deep breath and speak clearly and slowly , almost like a Highland Forrest Forrest Gump
There is a lake down the road from where I live - I have gone goose hunting down there and hunt from the shore - the first time I shot a goose it landed in the water and I couldn't get it because it was too far from shore - so I went back up the the house and got my fishing rod and a big triple hook with a weight - hooked the goose after a couple casts and got it - after that I often carried a fishing rod with me when I went down there hunting -maybe that's what those two people were doing
