some 'unfair' guy setting up near your as described in your original post makes one really feel for you, but your sentiment about someone else tagging while preferred to spend time on the sofa really begs the question if there is another sides to this storyQuote:

Having a hard time seeing your point. Sportmanship goes both ways. Instead of congratulating your fellow sportsman on a job well done you rather try to degrade them. They have done nothing wrong. Got permission. Moved their setup when they became aware of a conflict. Correctly identified how to successfully harvest a deer in one outing. Too me seems just a bit of sour grapes.Quote:

I don't know the OP, so he/she can decide if the not so nice attributes apply or if he struggles to accept "loosing" (luck or skill aside - happens to all of us in one form or another)
I would be pissed too, considering the place is not that big the other 2 hunters should have moved on once they knew someone hunted it already.

well, this sounds familiar to a situation we had a few years ago.. we are a small group, of family ( 5 of us) that hunt a few spots. they are small spots but we are the ONLY ones allowed to hunt or do anything on those spots really... anyways, we wanted to obtain the neighbors bush as it was a natural travel zone from bedding to feeding and we see tons of deer and turkey.. tried for 5 years and finally got it... so i go out and set up a natural forage blind ( until i can properly scout it) and a trail cam... go out in 2 weeks and the property is all of a sudden posted and my camera stolen and blind destroyed.. talk to the land owner and they say they have another guy in there and that " he doesn't like other guys hunting with them"... i kindly advised it's their property and only they can decide how many people are allowed on it, not other hunters.. so i get the guy's number ( offered by the land owner, i didn't ask for it...lol) and was told to work it out as there was enough land for all of us... now, i had the intention of allowing him to hunt our parcel as well, as mentioned, so we can cover more ground.. let's work together sorta thing.. well i call and let's just say this guy is one sour P.O.S!! it was all i could do to not jump through the phone and lay the boots to him.. we called the landowner and advised that we would kindly back of out his property as we didn't want issues.. point of the story... choose your battles.. we have an amazing relationship with our landowner, but a dispute between hunters will void that immediately... sometimes communication between hunters goes well ( if you are all mature and open minded about everything) and sometime you get a ripe old A hole that thinks they are the primary heir to everything... just be careful and do your best to work it all out.. as someone else mentioned,, you can only hunt one spot / stand at a time.. why not go over all the stand / blind locations and do a rotation kind a thing.. i hunt stand a today, next time stand/blind b, etc etc...
Why should they move on? They got permission from the land owner and that should be the end of it. If the OP doesn't want to share either buy his own land or he should move on.Quote:
