I live in Norfolk, Simcoe/Delhi, the ticks arent that bad. Never had one on my turkey hunting. I wouldnt let a little insect keep me out of the woods. Only time ive found them on me is when i head closer to the lake....Turkey Point - Long Point...they seem to be worse closer to the water.
Remember, mosquitoes carry West Nile.
If I was that worried about insect-borne disease, I'd never leave the house.

Depends on your timing. I hunt it for the woodcock and phez are a bonus.
