It would be quite convenient to point out that much of Harris' policies vis-a-vis cost cutting were as a result of Bob Rae's Government. ( This is a very definitive causation link), but most of us can acknowledge that the ball has been dropped by successive governments, with not one owning most of the blame.
The current Conservative government happens to be driving the ship when the water gets noticed on the lower decks. Say what you will, but the Ford Govt. has ( despite claims to the contrary), displayed a remarkable amount of accountability during this time of crisis. I have no doubt that this particular issue will see an improvement. Complete resolution will take longer than the current mandate.
