anyone know how the heatshield brand is? i have a few things from them they dont seem that bad at all but they are just small clothes items. anyone actually bought a knife from them or scope? they had some nice scopes on sale as well!

They fall into that category...."you get what you paid for". They are Chinese made, low grade steel. So they don't hold an edge very long.Quote:

Of my large knives, my Buck 110 is almost "heirloom" quality in its looks and function. My Gerbers are perfectly functional, but in the end are just plain black rubber handles. They arent anything special.
