My wife had to stay back here for a family matter and I went up north. Within a week she had come down with Covid the Delta variant and got very, very sick. She has since recovered, her anti bodies count is high and because of this she would not get her first vaccine until the end of this month. By September this year my Doctor suddenly wanted me vaccinated ASAP so I followed her advice.
Turns out when I spoke with her two weeks ago, her own brother had died with Covid and she herself had got infected. Her symptoms were very mild , akin to a bad cold. But when she had a test done for an infection in her lungs, they found that she had actually had Covid.
So I have had both vaccines and after the required time period I recently got my Prevnar vaccine for pneumonia prevention.
My Doctor had gotten her vaccine's as she told me she had and why and related the story of her brother.
