Unfortunately-the truth is, they indeed did major changes to language laws-all to suppress Russian language and heritage ,for the many millions of Russians living in the country.They had "one size fits all "approach to all citizens on Non Ukrainian nationality,and they cut and limited many Pre Existing laws.Far and wide.
Despite the fact-Ukrainian language was not jeopardized by those "other"minorities,because they are spoken by only few 100 000 ppl per nationality.

When many impacted EU countries-bordering Ukraine,asked to exempt or Re Instate the laws in existence for the past 40-50 years ,for their minorities living in current Ukraine from clear "forced"Ukrainization trend -They flatly ignored at best, refused at worst.


One should try -if so much interested in this topic, to find information from other sources too, not just the biased currently available one.
All this does not justify the deaths of the innocent and the destruction-however may help understand few things better.

Well if the media did a good job at reporting people wouldn't have to look at other sources to get the other side of the story.

When our media says Russia bombs a hospital and call for war crimes it would be nice to know the reasons why the hospital was a target in the first place. But our news didn't tell us the Ukraine military was set up in a working hospital shooting at the enemy approaching . When you set up a military operation in a hospital or a school they become real targets with citizens mixed in.

Same with virus if they told the whole truth people wouldn't have to be looking at different sources to find the truth.

Only people to blame is our one sided media and they wonder why there is so many conspiracies. When you don't have a trusted news source or government people will eventually look for the truth. They make the people go out and read the bs because they are not trusted to show or bring the whole truth to the table.

So our Prime Minister flies to Ukraine in the middle of a so-called war, for a photo op with U2 & Zelensky but was too afraid to speak to the Freedom Convoy & took a personal day during the Rolling Thunder rally?

Meanwhile, we give 40 billion in aid to Ukraine while inflation is though the roof and people can't even get baby formula or leave the country.

Biden cancelled Keystone pipeline first day in office (and Trudeau and the Libs didnt even say a peep about it!!!)
