Italy and Spain are ordering/forcing people to stay in ... huge fines/jail if you don't obey the rules ... I am speaking directly with people living in both countries. I can ask a question for you to these people right now if you want ...
Sure. Do they have toilet paper?
Also the dramatic impact of financial losses are going to be higher the longer it keeps going. There is still time if shut down this moment next month its business as usual for Canada. Restaurants could open again. Golf courses will open weddings and other events can continue. Want to see a concert no problem only Canadian singers only. Casinos can open
Slow the spread these businesses will be out for months. Eliminate the virus fast and life goes on without the suffering of companies for months. .
Pick one
A slow economy loss that keeps businesses closed for months or a speedy lockdown recovery. I can almost guarantee you a bigger loss over a longer period.
By professional researchers "end quote "
"We could be like this for more than 1 year"
Can you see yourself doing this , this fall still before the next flu season as the virus only gets stronger? When scientist say that this is possible to last a year. Then what that's what they are saying. Sars was over a year to contain this is worse.

Use a warm cloth wash it when your done
Who needs toilet paper. We used it on our oldest it was the norm.
I used cloth diapers when I was little one
It's what my mom used on me some times
We are not going to die without toilet paper. People are already making their own and improvising with what they have.
People are already cant buy paper to use.
Simple solutions to fix that problem. You dont need to live with toilet paper.

Sure glad I’m not a vegetarian

I think both Spain and Italy, if your caught outside without permital papers. Your in trouble.
For the most part, I think residents are embracing it. Again, a difference in our societies.
Spain, seems that people are still going out, but very limited numbers.
Italy is like a war zone. Army and police everywhere ... if you are outside, even for a walk, you are going to be questioned. You are not allowed to be within 2m of other people. From one person I heard they can walk, if they need the exercise, but from another person I heard that you can be fined. I think there is some confusion in Italy about what is and not allowed to do, but for sure they all agree the soldiers will question you ... you definitely can't just go outside without any good reason.
Here's the response from my friend in Spain, so it seems it's not as tightly controlled as Italy right now.
"I just went to the supermarket and everybody is wearing masks and globes
The feeling is weird
We are still joking at the supermarket as always
Well in this part of Spain we are pretty easygoing, pure mediterranean style"
