I didn't lose nothing, we still had three tree stand in the cut. We also rebuilt a better stand with better visibility.
I also found another great cut that we hunted for years.
I don't have no use for lazy people that try to take advantage of others people hard work.
Im the most respectful hunter you will ever meet. I’ve helped lots of people in the bush over the years.

Easy there,tough guy. You and your buddies can end up in jail and lose all their firearms,permanently,like what happened to the morons in our area that had an attitude like that. Do really think all that false bravado and bullshyte posturing would be worth it? It's all a big joke until the Police show up,right?

So, for the people who think using someone elses treestand on Crown land is cool, how about I stumble on your campsite you have set up on Crown to hunt from and set myself up in your tent? How can this be any different? You were not using it at the time were you?? Put your time in and don't piggy-back off someone elses hard work.

So from the Op's post who did the most work?
You may own the stand but not the area. If someone sets up in the area and you don't want them to use the stand move the stand.
Otherwise be prepared to share and make the best of it.

Thank you Finsfurfeathers, you said it correctly. I dont think this is about not wanting anyone to use your stands on public land, this is about not wanting anyone on the areas you placed your stands on. As he said, you don't own the land, therefore you must cooperate and share.

Deer Hunter, respectfully you said that you wont "walk in a cut that’s hunted", yet you did, even though the guy was there first, so what really bothered you, that the guy was in your stand or was in "your" (not) area?

I for one would not use someone else's tree stand, but I would absolutely not be chased out of a public hunting area that I know I have a right to be in and I was there first, and will use all legaI avenues at my disposal to preserve that right. Everyone has cell phones, cameras and trail cameras these days, and a call to the MNR and the OPP will be made at the first hint of a threat to me or my personal property from anyone trying to chase me out of an area I know I have every right to be in.

That's all I have to say about this topic friends. Cheers and please lets all get along - hunters are their own worst enemies.

Fair enough and good point.
It sometimes hard to make a long story short.
I never told him he couldn’t hunt there, I asked him politely to get out of my tree stand.
This guy walked in the cut amongst us for days and we never said boo to him.
We are not criminals and never threatened no one.
If I can’t sit in my tree stand that I work my Azz off to haul in and build then it’s my privilege to dismantle it.
End of story.
