What ever the intent of the Republican party to stack the Supreme Court with social conservatives who would go down this path, the fruits of it will now be harvested. Hopefully it has spurred the Democrats to mobilize and the Republicans will loose in the mid term elections big time.

Trying to circumvent the electoral process and the will of the people has its consequences.
