I wouldn't read too much into a Liberal win in that area. Libs could run a trained Gerbil anywhere in Toronto and it would win.

I do not think Trudeau or most other Liberals really understand what is on the list or the implications in the wording of the latest amendments. There is no doubt in my mind that they will walk back on some of this legislation, it will not be because of farmers as most probably do not vote for him but because of the aboriginal groups and every day hunters affected.
I would read into it a lot, everybody knows that the Cons have to pick up GTA seats and this is one of the many Harper managed to win.
If Pierre had any bright policies or positive outlooks the electorate may have given him a nod, but because he is empty handed, has no policies or solutions he got the boot instead. IMHO
The party of Law and Order has been unmasked as the party of disorder and unlawfulness.
If you think for a New York Moment that voters will not remember Pierre and his support for occupiers and border blockers and turmoil in the Capital, you are very much mistaken.
Pierre is going to pay a huge price in the next election. IMHO
Let's hope Pierre gets in lol. They will probably take a few off the list but not many.

Death by a thousand cuts, So I am guessing you will be happy when the guns are banned for the next generation as long as you got to have yours.
Allan Rocks statement is very close to being true, I am guessing you have not even heard about the thousands of guns banned now including regular firearms and handguns (We can no longer pass them on, when I die the government will take them from my son).
He won't be revamping it. Latest statement was that some hunting guns might be banned anyways.
QUOTE=Bo D;1207016]I would like nothing better than all these small groups banning together as one. One for all, all for one. When they all got up and started asking questions and kind of revolting, Trudeau called a halt and said he was going to re-vamp the list. This in my mind was a small victory and we should not be complacent and as a whole should keep the pressure on. Right now he's somewhat behind the eight ball, and if we continue the onslaught he might even scratch...
The fact that only some hunting guns will be banned anyway, means that they have revamped it, as your position is all hunting guns will be banned.
The quote from Bill Blair,Marco Mendicino and Justin Trudeau is "We're not going after hunter's guns" whereupon they released the list with (almost) every type of semi-auto rifle and shotgun tens of thousands of hunters use in a broad sweep which appears wholly vindictive,at best. Now,I may not be the sharpest knife in the drawer, but,it occurs to me that making statements like that, then, turning around and doing the opposite makes the Liberals either totally inept and ineffectual or bald-faced liars. It's absolutely in-your-face. There's no "spinning" it or re-hab-ing the statements,so take your pick.
Its not that they think they are stupid, they have proven it time and time again. And if there is any money for the voters in whatever scheme they are planning, then they don't even care and will quickly sell out the future of their country and kids for a few cents now.
