I was joking earlier,Dah. I bought a side x side because of COPD.My hunting days were pretty much over,I couldn't walk 30 yards.With the all the meds,now I can walk about 100 yards on even ground. I'm waiting for my hunting disability card which we'll enable me to shoot from my sxs.Quote:

Let's put it this way a farmer friend of mine feed or checks his horses using an ATV in the morning about 7:00 - 8:00 AM and the deer knows it. They come around the feed trough about the same time waiting for him pretty well every day.
These deer are not stupid and know when there could be feed in the grounds.
It's not unusual for a deer to stop and stare at him at 10 yards while doing this.
However having said this I will never hunt from the ATV but will use it to bring equipment or a partner straight to the tree stand or bring the carcass out.
I enjoy the walk to the field while I can but I know some of my friends are not able to anymore.
They might not be stupid coming to the sound of an ATV but they might be dead real quick!!
