Went to login at the top of the screen this morning. Couldn't use the automatic login (name and password) because no text would come up in the fields, had to hit the login button and bring up the login screen.

Small thing, but I like the green highlighting on 'selected text'.
Was good the way it was. Why fix what aint broke.
It works great on desktop.
A few issue with my Iphone though.
First, from the "New post" menu I can't see how many pages have been writen on a thread so I can't go straight to the last page.
Second, when you look at someone post the layout looks terrible. The avatar and name of the member takes a lot of space and you have to look for the post. Something isn't right.
Good job overall but need some tweaking.
Just lodging my complaints. Hopefully the powers that be see that the old site was fine the way it was.
I'll second the avatar/name taking up big real estate in the post. I'm using an iPhone w/Safari, and for posts with only a sentence or two, the avatar/name takes up 2/3 of the post. I disable avatars anyway, but it may be distracting for others.
I also have some screen formatting issues:
There a column of grey on the right hand side - this shrinks most of the forum screen, and partially covers the Canada wordmark.
The menu is a bit counter-intuitive in the layout. That big, unlabeled menu button, that is begging to be used, is for the magazine, while the diminished menu button is for the forum. Any way to label that up, so it is obvious which one is community vs. magazine?
Either way, I appreciate the work you are putting into this CalTek
Will work on that today.
Thanks for your time here. Sorry to see you go.
Weird that email is working now (I didn't do anything on my end :) )
As mentioned numerous times the old site was NOT mobile friendly so that is why it was updated - so in a way it was broke.
Thanks for heads up. I will see if I can get my hands on an iPhone to test (only have Android here).
I disagree - old site was not "fine" by web standards. Responsive websites (one web design that works in all platforms) are where it is at and the old forum did not meet that criteria so it was overhauled (as was OOD website).
