That is your opinion...not mine :)

Don't try to sell that these guys are in it for the good of the country because they pay huge taxes. They're in it for 2 reasons, first they want to play football and secondly, they're in it for the money. There is very little loyalty to a team anymore. They follow the teams that offer up the money.
And if a particular club has a set of rules regarding conduct on and off the field and these guys don't like it? Sure, they can quit but they'll be out of a job in a heartbeat because there's hundreds of kids just waiting to take their spot. The game will go on.
Nothing about Kapernik kneeling was silly. Sure proved to be stupid though.
You have every right to be upset with their protests but they have the exact same right to protest.
This is the key here, you can have your opinion and they can have theirs, once you start saying they should be locked up for their opinion you are removing that freedom, including the freedom you have to be upset with their protests.
Fox...
Spare me the ridicule and accusations that I am ignorant to others having an opinion! An opinion is one thing...justifying it by means of occupying a thread with some ideological propaganda is something else entirely!

No body said they should be locked up - they should be fired - that's all - and the owners have a right to do that - and if they have a contract you don't renew it - in the meantime they sit on the bench - and if people had any sense they wouldn't go to the games
I guess nobody has any sense as the NFL had a revenue of $13 Billion in 2016, no owner will fire the people protesting as they would have no product on the field to bring in the money, no matter their views on the matter the all mighty dollar means significantly more than watching someone do something that does not hurt their bottom line at all.
BitTurk, the entire point of this thread by JoePA was to push propaganda, all of the others on here giving the opposite view (not just me) have every right to give their opinions, the same as you. Again, this is what a free country is, if you want that ability silenced prepare to have yours silences as well.
Since patriotism has been brought up. It is pseudo-patriotism but we'll indulge a little. It seems many have forgotten that a few years back the NFL and the various branches of service in the US caught some heat (It disappeared quickly/conveniently) because the military was using tax dollars to pay the NFL for these pregame ceremonies. Some lip service from the league and the money was returned we were told. That is were the leagues patriotism stands, for the almighty dollar.
