If stopped by conservation officer, then you must provide tag license holder information....
You just can't get your buddies tag and put it on and be done with it.... You must also be prepared to give your buddies info to the conservation officer if stopped...Then you can be rest assured they will follow up with your buddy to determine if the facts add up....(time, place, location etc....) But thanks for bringing this up to all our attention, interpreting the regs or even information in print can be tricky.
