That was one of the most amusing things we ever have had on the forum GW and you took all the kidding with great humility. For someone to throw it back at you, as an insult, only shows his true character.

It gets even better when a forum member that remembers it, pokes fun at him about it and someone gets explain what the joke is. Of course there is never going to be any stretching of the truth for good story telling.

I'll post a photo of my wood shed that I have built now all finished except for the siding.



I have never done siding so will be a first for me.

While it does not typically add anything germane to the discussion it does add some entertainment value during this period of social distancing and while i am usually on the other side where FM posts are concerned every once in a while he does raise a valid point (IMO).

Success or failure is hinged on the first row...spend a lot of effort to make it perfect....the rest will fall into place.

Maybe easier to buy some beer and invite a buddy over to help get the siding started.:)

Don’t nail it tight. One tap from tight then siding can expand in the sun and shrink in the cold without that wrinkle warping look
