Following the advice of your MD is a good plan. Just pointing out that comparisons to the Flu vaccine are not valid as the Corona vaccines being tested/developed are a totally different animal. The types of vaccine they are developing for COVID have never been used successfully in humans so if they succeed it will be a medical/scientific first.

Myself i will probably wait a bit but eventually get it if it appears to work. Similar to others i have been vaccinated up the Ying Yang for work and travel in Africa and Asia and to date have never had a bad reaction. Anecdotal for sure but my take is on the average they do far more good than harm.

Not in this fashion where they they want it roll it out across the population. There's a difference between jacking with stuff in a lab and wanting to use the whole world and population as your laboratory.

Like Species8472 said this is experimental and has never actually worked. Conducting a worldwide experiment with a new type of experimental vaccine that alters your DNA for a virus with a mortality rate on par with the flu is knowledge without wisdom put into practice. For that matter the whole world's response to COVID has been an example of knowledge without wisdom.

Actually you can modify your own DNA using a CRISPR tool and they are actually quite cheap. Sure wish I had become a biologists. Reverse engineer the chicken back to a small raptor. :)

Funny thing is-if let's say the Russians invent the vaccine(they might-we never know)"just because" they are Russians ,they have enough smarts.........no need to underestimate them.

Wait, wasn't there a vaccine for H1N1?? ... I remember pretty much all of Canada had to take it. Do you think that was fully tested, with full knowledge of the implications to the humane genome? I doubt it ... I think almost all these things are just experiments with limited knowledge.

I'm not arguing against you ... for sure the planning has been pathetic. And for sure it's because people are panacking, and my opinion is either it is unjustified, or the government is not telling us something (either they know something about this virus that is really bad that they aren't telling us ... or they are using this specifically as part of some major plot against humanity ... likely to do with the markets and/or control).

There certainly was no mandatory vaccine for the H1N1 influenza. Same as the annual flu shot it was totally voluntary. Anyone who did get it would have immunity anyway. Interestingly enough it turned out that many elderly people already had immunity to it from being exposed to it in the past.

I am not trying argue either I am just trying to get some information out there and see if anyone has any better ideas.

The H1N1 vaccination would have been a traditional vaccination where you are injected with the dead virus and your body creates the antibodies. There are no implications to the human genome with traditional vaccination as far as I know.

This mRNA technology is a whole different technology. I am not a scientist or a doctor but my understanding is that it involves programming your DNA to emit proteins similar to the virus that your body then creates antibodies for. This has never been done successfully, it's all theoretical. Any threat to your progeny may be theoretical but do we want to take a chance for COVID. Is it really worth the risk? People being tested with it in current trials are asked not to have unprotected sex or donate sperm.

Any vaccine they talk about will be this type, they have never successfully created a traditional vaccine for something like COVID.

If people want to take it go for it. If they try to mandate it or make a prerequisite for travel, public gatherings etc. there needs to be some push back. This all started with 2 weeks to flatten the curve and now we are here with mandated masks. Are they going to continue with the fear and coercion until we willing accept an experimental vaccine? Where does it stop, what's the goal? Zero deaths? Every time we meet a goal they move the goalposts and we all keep playing along. 9000 covid deaths in Canada with 80% of those in long term care homes. Those deaths are a tragedy but they aren't the catastrophe that warrants the current response.

As for politicians using this crisis, start paying attention to the phrase "Build Back Better" you probably have already heard or will hear that from politicians in the near future. Type those three words into your search engine and start reading. It's the UN agenda to reorder the world economy on sustainable practices (green energy etc). Everyone in Ontario knows how well that works. This crisis is being used to try and implement this policy. Canada, the UK, the democrats and others are all starting to use that phrase in their speeches and in turn developing policies along those lines.

I dont honestly don't believe they will find a cure for covid. My belief is they will find something down the line of the yearly flu shot which will lessen the impact if you catch it but what ever they come out with I will certainly get in line for it. Whether I die from the shot or getting covid 19 I look at it this way we are all going to die someday some sooner than others it's called life.
