Have you filed you taxes the last couple of years?

Ontario doesn't have there own carbon tax (if they did they could spend the money however we wanted), so we are under the federal program which pays back 90% of the carbon taxes.
This is why I say it's not about the environment, it's just a wealth transfer - from higher income earners who spend more than average on fuel and heating to lower income earners who spend less on fuel and heating.
And the sooner people realize that IT'S NOT ABOUT THE CLIMATE, the better. It's a vote buying wealth transfer - that's all.

If the transfer of wealth is between me and the missus as she is the lower earner I really don't' think the $500.00 a year is going to radically change society and turn us from a Conservative heaven to a Socialist hell. All the missus need's to do is divorce me and she has hit the jackpot.

According to the chart a family of 4 should be getting $244.00 x 4 so about $976.00p.a.

P.S. That makes us only $24.00 short and we can then get you to join the "dark side" LOL

I received 2 cheques in the mail I can remember for about $100. I don't do direct deposit from those guys.

(I believe the rest came with my tax return)
