When it was told to me that's what was meant and in my experience it's true.

I watch upwards of 100 different bird dogs a year in competition and in training. Breeds I have watched in action, watched or judged in competition, hunted over and worked with in the past year are, English pointer, English setter, Llewelin setter, Vizsla, Weims, Brittany, Pudelpointer, German shorthair, German wirehair, Drathaar, Griffon, Gordon Setter. You watch and work with enough different breeds you see the pros and cons of them all.
You have a versatile breed. Pointers and setters are specialists at finding birds and they are just plain better at it.
Why would you make that assumption based on posting #'s?
My assumption would be that he might know more than most with a low contribution count.
Internet business indicates, good with computers, and not too busy training dogs.
