Got out for a bit after work managed to find 2. Finally was able to get the pup to bump a woodcock. The look on her face was priceless when that took off.
Great looking dog
quiet here, am I the only one looking for the little buggers?
The best day today so far, had at least 10 flushes, some of them repeats, 5-6 birds for sure.
Someone asked me about the habitat, here what it looked like today

We haven't run into a flock this spring. We're consistantly running into one or two at a time on short outtings. Getting some beautiful points though. Yesterday, in a fairly stiff breeze another pair of dog walkers forced me to call her in and by the time we were alone again, we had to work our little spot with the wind behind us. I'll be damned if the britt didn't get a perfect point on a bird that was 8 feet down wind from her. How can she do that???
Bird may have walked a bit however 8 feet isn't that far for a brit's nose. Always believe they sat solid until watched one tip toeing around the dog. They can be sneaky at times.
Haven't found any yet in Caledon but will be out again tomorrow
