Hit one of my best spots today after work. 5 grouse flushed, but not a single WC. I'm baffled.

The 2 birds I shot today are too very skinny. It must have been a hard lean summer for them.
Flight birds are starting to show up at Hullett Marsh this week, it should only get better in the next couple weeks.

Yesterday, 11 flushes from 9 different birds, 4 shots fired, one bird in bag. This was with no dog. Got as soaked as you can possibly get.
