Again, non-native and invasive are not the same thing.

Invasive species are by definition harmful to existing species, economies, health, etc. Introduced species that do not harm existing systems and which are broadly seen as desirable are by definition not invasive.

So yes, the fact that people like them does mean they're not invasive. That's the definition. Look it up.

Or alternatively, keep making a public fool of yourself.

Incidentally, one of the things that makes invasive species invasive -- i.e. that gives them the opportunity to INVADE, which is the root word of invasive -- is that they don't need to be "given the opportunity." They do it on their own.

The eagle is protected, I cannot shoot it or eat it !,
Whereas I can shoot a feral hog anytime and anywhere [except within city limits ] and myself and family can enjoy the meat. :):)

I wonder if it is the Spanish blood in the Eurasian boar that increases the litter size and rate?
